Final Inspection

Surface treatment of hard chrome is accomplished according to standard and procedures requested, controlled by:

  • Hardness: Periodical Vickers test on specimen.
  • Roughness
  • Layer thickness
  • Dimensional control

Laboratory

CROMOFIX has a chemical Laboratory to control its process, checking the raw material and nature impacts.

Through regular tests the process parameters correction controls are done, aiming to assure a quality coating. We also control the raw material and choose suppliers deciding on the Lab results.

We look for the continuous improvement of process through several tests and researches, in order to assure the customers the coating efficacy of hard chrome, as well as the possibility to new technical solutions to new problems coming from technological updates and discoveries, besides searching for alternative and methods for diminishing the environmental impact.

Mother Nature Environment

In order to work only within international gas emissions Standard limits and also keeping good conditions of work environment, CROMOFIX uses gas catchers and washers at its Plants.

Respect to the environment shows how the right equipment is applied to reduce and control gas emissions to the atmosphere and industrial wastes and scraps are delivered to the specific waste disposal sites.

Commitment to the Mother Nature issues: water, which has been applied in the industrial process and not recycled, is treated in a modern Water Treatment Plant.
